When should you use a suspension harness?
Suspension harnesses can be worn by anyone who's working on a vertical plane. They can be used alongside fall arrest systems, or they can be worn while attached to a fixed rope in hard-to-reach areas. Some working scenarios are too tight to allow for a scaffold tower or ladder to be used, which is when a suspended worker might need to step in! Being suspended in the air for long periods can get uncomfortable really fast, but when you wear a suspension harness, you'll feel comfortable and able to work for much longer.
